Can I use ImprovMX SMTP for bulk mailing
or mailing lists?
Why ImprovMX isn't best suited for bulk mailing or creating mailing lists.
ImprovMX SMTP is a robust mail sending feature available on our Light, Premium, and Pro plans.
If you anticipate using ImprovMX SMTP for bulk mailing or mailing lists, it's worth keeping in mind that is not designed for this kind of usage. If you're on the Premium plan and are approaching the 6,000 emails per month limit with ImprovMX SMTP, it's recommended that you do one of two things:
- Upgrade to the Pro tier to better accommodate the usage (30,000 sent mails per month - see full details of limits here). Or...
- Utilize a service designed for bulk and/or large sending.
We hope to offer a more robust sending solution in the future, but don't quite have a timeline on development just yet.
